Share the magic of Christmas: Donate an Advent

This festive season, Cards for Good Causes is inviting shoppers to help share the joy of Christmas through our “Donate an Advent” campaign, a simple way to bring a little festive magic to those who might otherwise miss out.

By making a small donation in our pop-up shops or online, customers can help us deliver Advent calendars to care homes across the UK. These calendars will be gifted to residents, many of whom may be spending Christmas away from loved ones, so that they can still enjoy the anticipation and delight of opening a window each day throughout December.

“The festive season can be a difficult time for those who can’t be with family,” said Christine Ansell, CEO at Cards for Good Causes. “We wanted to do something small but meaningful – to bring smiles, connection, and a sense of community into care homes at Christmas.”

How it Works

Shoppers are invited to make a monetary donation, either in any of our pop-up Christmas shops or through our website. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards purchasing and distributing Advent calendars to care homes as part of this campaign.

This isn’t about donating a physical calendar. It’s about coming together to spread kindness. Cards for Good Causes will coordinate the delivery, ensuring that the joy of the season reaches those who need it most.
