Making Christmas Cards More Inclusive: Braille Labelling Comes to Our Pop-Up Shops

This festive season, we’re proud to introduce something truly special in our charity Christmas pop-up shops – braille labelling machines that let customers create their very own braille messages to include inside any of our Christmas cards.

Available in eight of our pop-up Christmas shops, these braille labelling machines allow shoppers to print personalised messages, names, or greetings in braille. It’s a simple and meaningful way to make card-sending more inclusive.

Celebrating Braille and Inclusion

The initiative coincides beautifully with the 200th anniversary of Braille, the tactile reading and writing system that has empowered blind and partially sighted people for nearly two centuries. By offering Braille printing in our shops, we hope to celebrate the legacy of Louis Braille while shining a light on the importance of accessibility and inclusion, especially during the festive season.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel part of the magic of Christmas. Adding Braille messages to cards is a simple but meaningful way to connect, showing loved ones that we’re thinking of them in a way that truly feels personal and inclusive.
