Celebrating Thinking of You Week

Thinking of You Week
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s easy to get caught up in our routines and forget to take a moment to reach out to those we care about. That’s why Thinking of You Week, which runs from 16th to 22nd September 2024, is a great reminder. It’s a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the important people in our lives through the simple act of sending a card to let them know we’re thinking of them.

What is Thinking of You Week?

Thinking of You Week was started by the Greeting Card Association to encourage people to spread kindness, love and positivity through the simple act of sending cards to friends, neighbours, colleagues and loved ones, both near and far.

Why it matters

In today’s digital world, while we’re more connected than ever, genuine connection can sometimes feel harder to maintain. Social media and messaging apps may keep us updated on each other’s lives, but there’s something special about receiving a handwritten note or heartfelt message.

Taking the time to pick a card, write it and send it to someone creates a great feeling of positivity and wellbeing. Studies have shown that receiving a card can boost someone’s mood, reduce stress, strengthen relationships and reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.

How to get involved

Nothing beats the joy of receiving a handwritten card in the mail. Why not pick up a few cards and send them to friends, family, neighbours or colleagues to brighten their day?

We have a wonderful selection of cards for all occasions to choose from. Plus our brand new collection of charity Christmas cards are now available too!

When you buy cards with us, not only are you spreading joy when you send them, you are also helping us to continue supporting our charities
