How we support local communities
During the Christmas season, from October to December, we operate a network of pop up Christmas shops across the UK. These are situated in empty retail units or in community spaces such as libraries, museums, town halls and churches.
Venues have the opportunity to earn commission on all sales which can make a big difference to the local community. By shopping in our pop up shops each year you are helping to make a big difference. Take a look below at some of the feedback we have received from community spaces.
We are always on the lookout for new premises – either empty retail units or spaces within existing venues that could host our shops. If you think you could help we would love to hear from you. Find out more about our shops.

“We are grateful for the kind donation from Cards for Good Causes when they use our building for their annual card and gift shop. We are a Grade II* church and all contributions to the upkeep of our building is greatly appreciated! The Church Council wants to ensure that many community organisations can use our building, and the donation from Cards for Good Causes helps us to maintain the building to a good standard so that we can worship in it and charitable organisations can use it too.”

“The money from Cards for Good Causes helps with maintaining and heating the premises which are used by a wide range of groups in our community. One example is a weekly day centre for people with memory loss. There are ten members, two managers and a team of volunteers. The object of the centre is to provide a stimulating day in a safe and supportive environment for those still being cared for by a family member at home. This gives the carer a valuable day’s respite and they tell us regularly what a life-saver it is.”
